分詞構文

そもそも、分詞構文とは

書き言葉であり、文字数を経済合理性を図るための表現のこと。

ビジネスのシーンででてくることはある。

 

接続詞で始まる節を分詞区で作る。

①2つの説に守護が同じ

②接続詞、主語、削除

③動詞を現在分詞に変形

④動詞を現在分詞に

（⑤より古い過去　having + 過去分詞）

 

例文1

Because Jim was sick,he couldn’t attend the meeting.

主語・時制が同じ場合→主語、接続詞を消すことができる。

Being sick,Jim couldn’t attend the meeting.

時制がずれている場合は？？

Because Jim was sick,he isn’t feeling well.

Having been sick,Jim isn’t feeling well.

主語が複雑のとき

Because Jim was sick,his wife isn’t feeling well.

Because Jim was not healthy,his wife isn’t happy.

not は前に持ってくる。

Jim not being healthy,his wife isn’t happy.

Jim demoted,Jim didn’t attend the meeting.

Demoted,Jim didn’t attend the meeting.

①Mary = she

②　took a bath, she had a glass of beer.

③　taking a bath, she had a glass of beer.

※意味的におかしい。

④　Having taken a bath, she had a glass of beer.

　　After taking a bath, she had a glass of beer.

We will start tomorrow, weather permitting.
